Welcome to the Presidents Blog,
It's the beginning of a world for everyone, especially the Garden Statesmen. We have been in quarantine and not rehearsing for the past year+ due to COVID (like everyone else).
I'm happy to say we are now rehearsing again and are at the Plainsboro Municipal Building in Rooms A&B on Tuesday Nights for the foreseeable future.
I hope to see you come and sing with us or out in our audience cheering us on. To that end, we are hosting a Welcome Day! All are welcome and there will be snacks and entertainment. It's on September 25th at 2PM at the Plainsboro Community Center. We are excited to host this welcome to singing gathering! We hope to see you all there. We will be doing a holiday show this year - finally back in front of an audience singing again! Can't wait!
I would also like to announce our new director, Mark Van Bruggen! Welcome Mark. Mark has sung with the chorus in the past, left for a short while to sing with the Brothers in Harmony and, luckily for us, has returned to our ranks to become our new director. Those of us on the risers in front of Mark are planning on enjoying a great year of a-cappella singing and cameraderie with great friends.
